I'm not to sure on all the info on getting egaged and stuff,as it's different in different countries.But all the same,in the sceme of things,a year isn't a very long time in releationship terms.^ and from what people have listed above,maybe you should think more about what your thinking of doing.As Grace says,Marrige is a huge commitment,and you are still young.And however much you love your girlfriend now,there are still many other people out there you havn't met yet.I think you should wait a fair while longer before considering marrige.
