Surprise Birthday Party

I was going to throw my boyfriend a surprise birthday party but then I was stuck with what to do when people get there I dont want just a boring party where everyone justs sits there, Does anybody have any ideas?

He is going to be turning 18 and yes while alcohol would be nice its going to be a family and friends type of party his brother is going to take him to some club for his birhtday so his share of that then

thats what im going to do. I think i might not have explaned well enough I have everything planned form the people to the food and all that but im stuck b\c i dint know what to do when everyone gets there I dont want to just sit around and do nothing I want it to be fun.

Play Spin the bottle
Put some music on
Food and drink is good enough, people will mix and mingle with each other
But definately have some music or something
