^ I read those types of magazines for the articles
I dont really have time for normal books, so its either magazines or academic articles etc
My degree sometimes requires a lot of reading, I just read it to pick out the usefull pieces

Yeah it's hard to concentrate sometimes. If it's a boring book, I skip a few lines whilst reading because it's not interesting enough, if it's a good book, I skip a few lines whilst reading to find out what happens next.

once i pick up a book i can't put it down unless it reeeeeally doesnt intrest me. like i can't understand what is going on or i just don't care anymore. also if i really need to pee i generally put the book down =] i can go whole days with just reading because i enjoy it.

I can only read before sleeping.The quietude helps me to concentrate.
The beach is an ideal place for reading too

yeah when i dont find a book interesting, i kinda wait untill something good happens in it.
but if it just drags on, i just say fuck that and put it away and dont think twice

Yeah, I agree. It's very difficult to read a book full if you don't get into it within the first chapter or 2, etc. But I always find it easier to read when I first wake up in the morning because my mind is fresh, ya know? Does anyone have any good advice on any good books that are out or coming out etc???
