I know... It's two words, and also a phrase.

You should be saying "GreenDay/Greenday is not a word", then it'd be correct about what you are saying

Well "GreenDay, Greenday and Green day" aren't words/phrases that people use everyday so they don't belong in this thread. So piss off. Plus, they're shit.

I wouldn't say I'm obsessive about it, but I don't understand why it's so difficult to differentiate between 'your' and 'you're' and 'they're', 'their' and 'there' amongst others.

Also, I don't care whether you're writing an essay for school or writing a post on here or Facebook or whatever, you should still care about your grammar and spelling if you want people to understand what you're trying to say.

As for you StJimmy, if it's a phrase then it's not a word, so it doesn't belong on this thread.

StJimmy: Whether Green Day is one word or two is not exactly the cornerstone of the English language. I'd say unfamiliarity/not giving a shit is a fairly good excuse for getting it wrong.

For some reason I can't spell attached. Keep putting an extra t before the c...

Definitely and weird certainly elude my spelling skills. Similar(which I commonly spell as "similiar") to the "effect vs. affect," I tend to confuse highway with interstate, expressway, freeway, turnpike, etc.
