did u kno that RIDH is blocked from schools? i tried goin on it in the library and in the computer lab but its blocked! maybe its cus the word SEX is on this site. i dunno...

Probably because it's a forum. A lot of forums get filtered out on school web filters.

Yeah, I'd love to be able to do something about it but I really can't. If you're bothered get your teacher or whoever controls the blocking to email me - and I can try and persuade them to unblock it. No guarantees though.

Heh, the only forum requests I've ever seen get through the system was the request for the FIRST Robotics forum to be unlocked. Being that it was releated to school/a school team, they did it. They are pretty strict with their filtering though.

well the thing that really suprises me is that out of all the forums, this one and one other are the only ones i actually CAN go on too at school lol.

Yeah, our school blocks it and it say because of adult material or something like that, they should change the discription, its a bloody TEEN forum site, at the end of the day, your going to go there anyway.

The only page that is blocked for me is the read/reply to PM page, infuratingly, because people see I am online and send me a message. I can't reply and they might think I am ignoring them. The webfilter at my school filters the most stupid things sometimes.

Strange. There's not much stuff blocked at my school in terms of forums, even invisionfree ones are accessible. Then again, they think that the Star Wars website has nudity... I think the filter's broken lol

ever wonder who does the blocking exactly? cus when i go on the school comps, stuff is just like BLOCKED! they block like stupid stuff and all the other stuff u can go to. like stuff u think wuld be blocked isnt and all the nice stuff is. lol. watevr. hehe

In my school we'r only allowed use computers once a week in our computer class and then only 4 "educational purposes" and the teacher walks around staring at us!

lol, most filters block so many things... I had to help my friend crack one that his dad put on his computer, it started blocking certain E-rated online games for "violence" -.-

I dunno if my school blocks it because I'm on summer break and didn't know about this place during the school year. What I do to go to blocked pages is go to a translation site such as www.worldlingo.com and translate it from whatever to english even if it isn't in "watever" it will come up, you just have to keep using the translator... It's a hassle, but if you want to see a site bad enough it's worth the time.
