ps3, i would consider, except for the 600 dollar price tag here, and the fact that they're sold out in our state till june 07. or so the news has said..

hmm. from this site im getting a main wii response, from another site i'm getting a 360..

the way i see it, the 360 is more expensive (obviously) and i'll actually be able to afford the wii a couple months down the line...

sigh. im not sure what to do.

maybe ill trick people into getting me both, thatd be amazing =D

It depends on so many factors.........

Wii. Get this if you like your games that are innovative and imaginative. If you can see yourself playing with others on a frequent basis then you may want to go with this.

Xbox360. If you want your games more realistic and powerful, than go with this. If you get this and buy Gears of War you won't be dissapointed, period.

Personally I'd get both, but thats just me.

PS3: awesome, no doubt. and FF13!

360: good exclusives, like Fable, Gears Of War. and of course, this and PS3 have Assassins creed

Wii: innovative, and has a new Zelda.

im waiting for the ps3 too, all of my bestest console memories are from the playstation series..except for of course the snes..god i miss my snes :/

oh i miss the old Ninty systems so badly! nothing beats mario brothers 3 on snes, i tell you, thats a great game.

360 all the way. Halo 3, Xbox Live, Gears of War, Forza Motorsport 2, and they've worked out the kinks and glitches.

The Wii, like most of Nintendo,is underpowered, geared towards younger kids, and has the worst controller if you can even call it that. Xbox only costs $50.00 more than the Wii, so in a sense, the Wii is overpriced for what you get.

The PS3 is going to be late in production, its online service is just starting, not a good game selection, and most of all, it costs a whopping $600.00.

I see this as a battle between the PS3 and 360. The Wii doesn't compare to the 360 or the PS3. I have hope for the 360. Its cheaper than PS3, faster than the Wii, and has the best game selection and online service.

plus if i manage to get a 360 (not looking good, dad = teh pissed) maybe i'll get to play more online games with you, spammy. lol i'm not sure if we've ever played after adding each other.. maybe once or twice on halo..

but yeah. i think im leaning towards a 360. i see all these commercials for gears of war and stuff and my jaws on the floor and it takes a while to clean up the drool.

plus i've already got an xbox live account set up with plenty of achievments thanks to my friends 360. does wii online cost money too? if it does maybe that will be the turning point.

i disagree entirely, i think that the Wii is opening doors, not closing them.

graphics shouldn't be an issue, we just talked about the snes, and lets face it, go on those and youll see a little bit of a difference between that and the new generation of consoles. but its a great machine. so the Wii has a lot less power, but that doesnt matter. graphics don't make a machine. gameplay does

and look at the gameplay. its revolutionary. each time a new cosole comes out, extra things are added. Xbox gave the idea of having a hard drive, which has been used for the new PS3 and 360. Dreamcast gave the screen on the controller, which was pretty useless, but gave a pathway for the DS's touchscreen. now, the Wii brings total movement sensor into the works

and PS3 stole it to an extent.

so the Wii is revolutionary, if you forget graphics. and as for it being a kids console, name a kid that would buy a gamecube for Resident Evil 4 (remember, PS2 stole that from Gamecube.)

That's exactly why I'm getting one. Nintendo consoles are always awesome for mulitplayer games too, and the Wii's by far the most innovative new console around. I can't wait.

The Wii will do well, because it appeals to the casual gamer. Like the DS, which has done extremely well.
