Just ask her straight up. Leave no confusion because if you don't say anything your basically leading her on and if you talk to her about it and she does have feelings she wont be happy at the time but she'll know how you feel and either she'll except it or she wont. If she doesn't shes not really your friend she was just around to be more.

She'll be happier in the long run either way because she wont be lead on to believe there was more when there wasn't
